This is not your typical networking group. Polka Dot Powerhouse is about making genuine connections with women who lift you up and support you to succeed.  


Join us for our September Connect of the Plano / North Dallas Chapter to meet fabulous current and future Dots! We bring positivity and enthusiasm to every meeting and to every chapter of our lives. Do you want to surround yourself with positive, authentic, go-getter women? If you're ready to move forward and up, both personally and professionally, then this is the group for you.  

Seats fill up quickly and you must register in advance to attend. Your first meeting is complimentary to come check us out, you are responsible for your meal/drinks.

The meeting is from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.  Open networking starts at 5:45 PM so come early to mingle and make connections.

Topic: Becoming a Prioritized Warrior: One of the biggest opportunities for growth in being a modern professional world is knowing how to prioritize all the options to "work and complete all that is on my plate". Options and choices are ballooning and everything feels important. However, the truth is that a lot of the work we do every day doesn’t really need to be done. At least not right away. We will learn 5 NEW Strategies to become a PRIORITIZED WARRIOR!

Outcomes: Learn 5 “How To” Strategies to Prioritize. Understand COMPLETION is the GOAL of prioritization. How to shift priorities like a Warrior. Create a “space” and “bandwidth” check in plan to prevent burnout. Experiential activities to take the strategies to application for a great year!

About Connie:

Connie Kercher served at Gannon University as Assistant Vice President for Student Engagement and Leadership Development before opening Switchboard Networking Boutique in September 2016 in Denver, CO and May 2019 in Greenville, TX. Her passion for intentional, event development was launched from the Dallas/Ft. Worth Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, a membership organization for corporate, association and independent meeting planners, where she was education manager. 

She previously served in multiple capacities at Texas A&M University, including director of the Leadership Engagement and Development (L.E.A.D.) program, leadership and student organizations coordinator and a member of adjunct faculty in the university's Regent Scholars Program.

Connie received her Master of Science degree in higher education administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech communication and rhetorical studies from Colorado State University. She is an avid golfer, sloth lover and doesn't own a tv. She is beyond blessed with an amazing community of family and friends who embrace her craziness, futuristic, learner and competitive strengths, and don't judge one of her favorite mottos, "The higher the HAIR, the closer to GOD"
